Aisling is a qualified psychotherapist and is accredited with IACP. Aisling has a honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University, Certificate in Psychology from Trinity college and is also trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. She has over 7 years client work experience in both private practice and voluntary work.
Aisling is passionate about helping people and also encouraging the benefits and advantages that counselling and psychotherapy can offer to people of all ages and backgrounds. She is non-judgmental and is committed to accepting all her clients as they are, viewing each of her clients with positive regard. Her aim is to help clients more towards a more fulfilled and happier self. Aisling wants her clients to reach greater emotional awareness and positive sense of self. During her therapeutic work she aims to meet all her client where they are at in that moment and focuses on the emotional dimension of the clients’ individual experiences.
Aisling is an integrated humanistic therapist also drawing from cognitive behavioural therapy and solution focused brief therapy. She works with both long and short term clients in dealing with a wide range of issues including, Depression, Stress/Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma, Sexual Issues, Relationship Issues, Work related issues, Grief Work and Cultural Issues.
