Linda is a qualified Psychotherapist and is accredited with the IACP. Presently doing a masters in IICP College, she has over 8 year’s client work experience in both private practice and voluntary work.

Initially she qualified as a Nurse and then went into the area of science spending many years in the area of research.

Linda is passionate about Mental Health and the power of psychotherapy to help individuals attain the life they want and deserve. Linda is pluralistic in her approach. With many excellent models to work from, Linda is conscious of the need to make adaptions when required. Linda strongly puts the client at the centre of her approach at all times giving the client choice as to how the sessions progress.

Linda at all times displays empathy and understanding to the client’s world and always welcomes feedback from clients. Linda is strongly committed to her work as a Psychotherapist and embraces challenges that may occur in the work.

Linda is passionate about her work and she is very willing to work long term with clients to help them achieve their goals. By identifying these goals and developing tasks to achieve those goals, clients can achieve what they want both in the therapy room and outside the therapy room. Linda is aware that Therapy occurs for a specific time per week therefore the need to identify and avail of cultural resources is essential to the client’s wellbeing.
