Claire Quinlan

Having always had a strong interest in human nature, Claire initially completed a B.A. in Psychology. She then went on to qualify as a Primary School Teacher. In her years as a teacher, she has predominantly worked with children with Special Needs.
Claire completed a Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy in 2016 and in 2017, she completed a Masters (accredited by UCC) in the area of Trauma.

Claire follows the Code of Ethics set down by IAHIP and maintains her accredited status through ongoing Continuous Professional Development training, Professional Indemnity Insurance and Clinical Supervision.

Claire provides a safe, nurturing, non – judgemental space to explore what is going on for the client. In her experience, she has found that therapy can also help to maintain mental wellbeing. Claire uses a variety of different strategies and approaches depending on the needs presented by the client. She is passionate about the power of the therapeutic relationship and strongly believes in providing a client – centred therapeutic experience where the client’s needs are always at the forefront and the client is always met with empathy and unconditional positive regard.
