Eda McCormick

Eda is currently completing the Master of Arts (MA) in Psychotherapy, a Level 9 QQI-accredited programme at Dublin Business School, having previously completed a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Before beginning her psychotherapy training, she spent over twelve years working in global technology organisations, including LinkedIn and Meta, working with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.

Eda works from an integrative perspective and places the therapeutic relationship at the heart of her work. She aims to provide a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, empathy and deep listening, with an emphasis on understanding each person’s individual experience rather than rushing towards answers.

Eda has a particular interest in identity, early relationships, and how the language and messages we encounter through our relationships can shape the way we understand ourselves and relate to others. She is particularly drawn to psychodynamic, person-centred and narrative approaches, and believes therapy can offer a space to become curious about our patterns, explore different ways of understanding ourselves, and perhaps re-author our stories.
