Carmel Grace
Carmel Grace is currently pursuing a BA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at IICP College and is completing her placement at Connolly Counselling Centre as part of her training to become a fully accredited therapist.
Carmel is an experienced telephone counsellor for the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, where she supports survivors of sexual violence, their families, and professionals who call the national helpline empathetically guiding them as they find their way through the trauma of sexual violence.
Carmel has also worked as a trauma coach with the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre on their Moving Forward Trauma Programme and holds a Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness.
Before commencing her journey with the DRCC, Carmel trained as an AMI Montessori Teacher and successfully ran her own preschool.
Carmel’s approach to therapy is deeply rooted in empathy and tailored to each individual’s needs. She creates a therapeutic environment of trust where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. Drawing from a person-centred approach and integrating various modalities, Carmel empowers her clients to explore their experiences and find healing and growth.
