His integrative approach to psychotherapy is inclusive of but not limited to chronic psychological conditions. Shane collaborates with his clients tailoring his approach to meet their specific needs. Clients are offered the space to explore deeper psychological disturbances at a pace and in a way that they are most comfortable with. Consistent and committed client engagement is central to this approach.
His training includes a comprehensive four-year BA (Hons.) at Dublin Business School (recognised by the IACP, IAHIP & EAP accrediting bodies), along with ongoing continuous professional development, and regular clinical supervision. He is also a published researcher whose work has focused on neurodiversity and cultural issues.

Shane works with more common presentations such as family and relationship issues, workplace stress, and low self-esteem, alongside complex conditions including OCD, psychosexual issues, ADHD, grief, and trauma.
Shane offers both short-term and open-ended counselling and he is available for weekly in-person sessions.
