Sophia Klein

Sophia is currently in her final year of her Masters in Psychotherapy at Dublin Business School and is completing her placement at Connolly Counselling Centre, working towards full accreditation. She also holds a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School. Sophia has over fifteen years of working as a primary school teacher and in recent years trained as a life coach and has worked in private practice with clients to support them with a variety of challenges. Sophia also has over a decade of experience as a yoga and meditation teacher and she incorporates mindfulness practices into her therapeutic work where desired.

Sophia has worked with clients on relationship issues, self-esteem, depression and anxiety. She seeks to provide a safe, non-judgmental space from which clients can explore their challenges and really get to know themselves, and she draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities to support this practice. She is primarily training as an integrative psychotherapist, combining psychodynamic and humanistic approaches, but she also has a strong interest in Gestalt, existential and body-based psychotherapy.
